Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice that focuses on deepening your connection with your body’s energy and relaxation. It’s all about tuning into how the poses feel rather than how they look.
In this style of yoga, we hold mostly seated postures for longer periods of time (typically 3-5 minutes) to target the deeper connective tissues like ligaments and fascia. By holding these poses, we help to improve flexibility, circulation, and overall mobility.
Props like blocks, bolsters, pillows, and blankets are used throughout to support your body and encourage comfort, so you can really relax into the practice.
Yin is for everyone, no matter your experience level. It’s a practice of listening to your body and finding your own edge.
Each 60-minute Yin Yoga practice is designed to help you slow down, find calm, and relax. Through gentle, seated postures held for 3-5 minutes, we target deeper connective tissues and promote flexibility, circulation, and mindfulness. Props are used to support comfort and ease throughout the practice.
Practices end with a 20-minute meditation to help you absorb the benefits and leave feeling grounded and refreshed.
